Pink Ruffle Cake

Nothing more need be said.

She is beautiful.

and Curious

And needed a cake to show her personality.

Baseball Glove Cake

Lyle Lyle Crocodile Cake

Lyles brown stone home makes the perfect cake for any party.

The tree is a smash cake, and the cookies and other treats made for a perfect party for a one year old.

Train Cake

Train theme with a hint of Thomas.

My Party Planner Shannon Qualls, comes up with the very best parties in the Albuquerque area.  I am blessed to be able to work with such a talent.

Shannon gave me a cake pan with nine train cars and asked for a train cake.  Later her son asked for Thomas the Train.  However there were more guests than cars, so I make the depot to feed the crew.

Vintage Wedding Cake

Only got one picture of this cake on my phone.  It was covered in lace and pearls.  and matched the vintage feel of the wedding perfectly.  I would have never thought of putting a gray and yellow tier on the cake but the bride asked, and I delivered.

Healthy Watermelon Baby Shower Cake

Torin is coming into a healthy Gluten Free environment.

In the middle of the summer when it's hot outside, and your nine months pregnant, and craving watermelon, This cake hits the spot.

I created the geometric mobile to put over the baby's crib, and wanted to incorperate this into the cake we had for his shower.

So we put his name on the small ones, and made a banner over the cake with his name.

The cake was refreshing and healthy.  It was really a sweet surprise.

Little Man Mustache and Top Hat cake

White chocolate Ruffles, and a Big Mustache make this the perfect baby shower or grooms cake.

The Base cake is hard to see in the pictures.  It is a box with wood grain, and air brushed to inhance the knot holes.  All done in a combination milk and dark chocolate, that melts in your mouth.

The second tier is delicately painted with gold, and grey giving a more rustic manly feel.

The top hat made a perfect piece of cake for the mother to be's daughter, to make her feel special.  It would also make a perfect smash cake of that special one year old.

Peacock feather Painted cake

Rustic Wedding. Burlap Fall wedding

I was asked to make a cake for a couple that did not particularly like cake, nor did they really want one at their wedding.

I met with them, One of the most beautiful couples I have been blessed to work with, I might add.  Heard all about their plans, and pinterest inspired wedding.

and together we came up with a design that suited them perfectly.  They were very excited about the cake now.

They found white birds on pinterest they really wanted on their cake.  I told them I could make them out of fondant, she didn't know that was possible.  Now on to the flavors."  We can have different flavors", why, yes you can.

The favorite was a chocolate Kahulua Chip and Peanut Butter filling.  Peanut Butter Cup.  After all was said and done.  They loved the cake, and now they love cake too.  All and all, a highly successful day.

Coffee Cake Baby Shower

Sometimes a cake takes on a whole new look.  My daughters and I put together a Baby Shower for my Oldest daughter and her baby girl.  After having two boys in a row, she was doubting weather or not she would get her girl.  Statistics and all.

But as soon as she had her ultrasound, the plans began.

So many of her friends were having babies, and so many showers looked similar.  We decided to have a breakfast shower.  We made parfaits, sausage, bisquits, bacon, homemade jams, did I mention BACON!

We came up with ideas that were a bit different.

Took baby Evelyn's name and created decorations suitable.

Lots of donut holes mounted to trees.

The cake at this party, was a coffee cake , made from a recipe handed down from Baby Evelyn's Great Grandmother.

A bit of quiche and french toast.

A bit of milk to wash it all down.

Fresh fruit,

And Family.  Ther perfect party.
